Summer Beach Scenes

In the summer, when I was young, I put on my bathing suit upon waking and went to the beach after breakfast. My cousins and I looked for lucky stones, played in the waves, dug clay out of the banks and took long walks. I am formed, in part, by my time spent lying in the hot sand or doing summersaults underwater. This explains how strongly I am drawn to the beach as a subject. It connects me to my past.
