Winter in Michigan is long, grey, snowy and cold – perfect for holing up in the studio! I often start the new year by reworking unsold paintings. Anything around for longer than 2 years is subject to a makeover. This warms me up so that I can tackle bigger projects. A blank slate is always daunting! I bought some 3′ x 5′ canvases recently and have started drawings for these big guys. Stay tuned for the results…
